It has been fifteen years since the original animation came out. Does this warrant a live-action remake? Especially one that follows the plot beat-to-beat?

Here is an unpopular opinion: I don’t care for this Disney installation of the early 2000s. It is generic, overstuffed & bland. Agree or disagree? 

Death returns to settle a score, & this time it's a whole family needing to fear the grim reaper. Freak accidents, bloody mishaps, Final Destination is back!

Scharfman's directorial debut can feel a little clunky at times. While the fantasy aspects mix well with the bloody horror and dark comedy. The story was too predictable. The satirical commentary is clever, though too on the nose. The cinematography is good, the colour palette vibrant, while the tone is dark, though balanced. The music mixes fantasy and horror well, sounding otherworldly. Death of a Unicorn earns is decent.

20 years after his last adventure, Indy returns to save the world anew! But can this third sequel hold up with the quality of the trilogy?
