Including mutant dinosaurs on an abandoned island is the worst idea in the long, sad history of this franchise. Welcome back to the world of prehistoric lizards.

Much like the genetically altered dinosaurs in this blockbuster, Fallen Kingdom is a monstrous abnormality, altering The Lost World’s DNA, with horrific results. 

The dinosaurs live! Raptors, T-Rex and one Frankenstein dino, created in a lab. The Park lives and while it does have flaws, I enjoyed it.

No Spielberg directing this movie, Crichton left as a writer after not being able to come up with an idea, and the T-Rex was retired.

After the success of the first movie, Universal pushed Spielberg and Crichton to work on a second film and novel.
